Grisman maybe, but Kahn was his smack buddy. I love his bass playing, but generally speaking, I don't think touring with JK was a good thing for Jerry's health.

probably true re kahn, but a junkie will score no matter what. and for jerry, i'm sure there were plenty of people coming around to offer some so they could hang with him.
